This invention describes a method for creating PPC Nano torrid by mixing propylene carbonate (PPC) with other solutions, including sodium sulfide and gold salt, then sonicating the mixture to create a solution. The solid is separated and pelleted to produce PPC Nano torrid. In simpler terms, it's a process to make tiny particles of PPC using various chemical solutions and sound waves, resulting in a useful material.
Figure 1. Images (a) and (b) are of TEM (CM200 model) 200kv operating voltage (scale bar 20 nm). Images (c) and (d) are of surface morphology study under FEG-TEM (JEOL) 200KV operating voltage. Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX) (FEG-TEM 200Kv) analysis is shown in line scanning (e), map scanning (f), elemental mapping analysis (from g to j). Diffraction analysis shows (fig. k and l) there is distinct shiny spot and dull rings which in close agreement for presence of amorphous and crystalline rings.
