RadJEPA Research Achievement

At the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, researchers are advancing clinically relevant AI for medical imaging with RadJEPA, a lightweight yet high-performance vision encoder for chest X-ray analysis. Developed at the Artificial Intelligence in Digital Health (AIDE) Lab, Koita Centre for Digital Health, the work is led by Prof. Dr. Kshitij Jadhav (Assistant Professor, KCDH | Chief Project Coordinator, AI Centres of Excellence, MoE, GoI), along with MS student Anas Khan.

MUMBAI: Indore celebrated a new chapter in urban commute on May 31 with PM Narendra Modi inaugurating a 6-km Metro line from Gandhi Nagar station to Super Corridor Station-3, but behind the smooth run of its first ride lies a quiet intervention from IITBombay. 

IIT Bombay has recently (on 26th March) received the National Intellectual Property Award in the category of Top Indian Organisation for Design Patent Applications.

IIT Bombay celebrated National Education Day on November 11, 2024, commemorating the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister. The event was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Vasudha Kamat, Former Vice-Chancellor of SNDT Women's University.

The IIT Bombay Rocket Team, a group of passionate rocketry enthusiasts, works tirelessly each year to design and build a new rocket from scratch. Their primary goal is to compete at the prestigious Spaceport America Cup in New Mexico, USA, where they have consistently pushed the boundaries of rocket design and performance.

To celebrate the successful Chandrayaan 3 mission in 2023, which prompted the Government of India to designate August 23rd as National Space Day, IIT Bombay is thrilled to host a 5-day exhibition in the convocation foyer, showcasing the wonders of space and the progress in space technology.This exhibition will present a variety of fascinating exhibits that showcase the vastness of space science and technological advancements.
