Bio- atomic force microscope facility

Description
This facility measures the topography, morphology and mechanical and electrical properties of samples and is specifically designed to work with soft and wet samples, i.e., biological cells and tissues.

  • No pre-processing of materials/cells is required for imaging
  • Ability to image structure/morphology of live cells and tissues under wet conditions
  • Ability to combine AFM measurements with images obtained in inverted microscope
