The system consists of a word database, which is configured to store multiple words from one or more languages, a memory and a processor to search the word database using the search query, generate language learning solutions using the learning module and then display the learning modules based on a configuration pre-selected by the user. The user selects the search configuration for their query (class wise/level wise/multilayered) in any of the supported languages and the language modules, which contain semantic, lexical information and synsets of the word along with its auditory pronunciation and pictures, are displayed according to this set configuration on the display UI.

The increasing trend of globalization renders multilingual proficiency a need rather than a luxury. Presenting online solutions that enable users to pick-up new languages involves presenting the learner with the meaning and usage of words from the new language to help develop contextual understanding. Such solutions however, tend to be static and do not adapt to take into account the needs and mental capacity of each learner. The language learning needs of a high school student differ from those of a language researcher. Thus, there is a need for an effective language learning solution which can cater to users with different mental acumen.
- Different difficulty settings: Users can move up the five difficulty levels as they get proficient in the language, giving a complete language learning experience.
- Updatable and extensive database: The updatable nature of the database makes adding new languages to the system very easy.
- User friendly UI: The UI offer users learning solutions in a multi-level, level-wise and class-wise manner, offering a lot of variety to suit different types of users.
- Multiple output mediums: The platform provides the user with the auditory pronunciation, pictorial and textual information about their query
The prototype consists of a language learning device or application that integrates a multi-layered user interface (UI), a processor, a word database, and memory modules to deliver personalized learning solutions. It supports queries in multiple formats, such as text and audio, and generates language learning outputs based on semantic and lexical word relationships. The interface allows level-wise and class-wise querying and tailors outputs accordingly—from beginner to expert levels. The prototype has been demonstrated with interactive synset-based displays, pronunciation guides, translations, part-of-speech tagging, and semantic grouping. It has been validated through structured examples such as the word "Aam" (Mango), showcasing features like hypernymy, hyponymy, meronymy, and antonymy. The modular design allows deployment on devices like smartphones, tablets, and e-readers, and is equipped for both offline and interactive educational contexts.
A prototype is developed which achieves functionality and all major elements of end use. GUI development is done and the product is ready for production/deployment.

This innovation addresses the growing need for accessible, personalized, and multilingual language learning tools, especially in educational and rural contexts. By adapting to a user’s proficiency level and enabling cross-language understanding through semantic linkages, it enhances literacy and cognitive development. It is particularly impactful in a multilingual country like India, where it can aid school students, adult learners, and language educators. With visual and audio outputs, it supports diverse learning styles and improves pronunciation, grammar comprehension, and vocabulary. The system democratizes language learning and can bridge regional language divides, fostering more inclusive and effective education.
- Primary and Secondary Education: Assists school students in learning vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation across multiple languages through an interactive and adaptive platform.
- Adult Literacy and Skill Development: Supports adult learners in improving language proficiency for daily communication, employment readiness, and lifelong learning.
- Multilingual Language Learning: Facilitates cross-language understanding by leveraging semantic relationships, enabling users to learn from one language to another intuitively.
- Digital Learning Platforms and EdTech: Can be integrated into e-learning apps, language learning software, or smart devices to enhance interactive and self-paced education.
