IIT Bombay has recently (on 26th March) received the National Intellectual Property Award in the category of Top Indian Organisation for Design Patent Applications.

We are proud to announce that IIT Bombay has been awarded the prestigious National Intellectual Property Award in the category of Top Indian Organisation for Design Patent Applications. This recognition underscores our commitment to fostering innovation, research excellence, and intellectual property creation. The award was received on behalf of IIT Bombay by Prof. Upendra Bhandarkar (Associate Dean R&D) and was presented by Honourable Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, Justice Pratibha Singh, and Prof. Unnat Pandit (Controller General, Indian Patent, Designs and Trade Marks). This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our brilliant faculty, researchers, and students in pushing the boundaries of innovation.
