We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) and IIT Bombay.
This MoU is geared towards fostering the development of intellectual property (IP) knowledge through IP-related course materials within the Biodesign Program. It also includes the establishment of a WIPO-supported Global Health Innovation Fellowship Initiative, enabling international Fellows to participate in the program.
These fellowships will be implemented at DBT Biodesign centers in IIT Bombay, Hinduja Hospital, and Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai and IIT Delhi, AIIMS, New Delhi. This monumental initiative is a significant stride towards promoting intellectual property and public health, symbolizing our shared dedication to enhancing institutional collaboration.
