IIT Bombay has recently seen a spurt in entrepreneurial activities within its ecosystem. We find that more and more researchers and faculty members are now stepping towards productization of their research ideas.
             
In order to facilitate such activities, IIT Bombay is organizing "World Creativity and Innovation Day 2024" on April 22, 2024 with the aim of introducing its researchers (post graduate and PhD students) to the importance of creativity and out of the box thinking for product development and innovation.

United Nations designated 21 April as World Creativity and Innovation Day to raise the awareness of the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development. On World Creativity and Innovation Day, the world is invited to embrace the idea that innovation is essential for harnessing the economic potential of nations. Innovation, creativity and mass entrepreneurship can provide new momentum towards achieving the sustainable development goals.
