The present invention provides an effortless, economical device capable of crushing bottles, cans, etc and is operated by foot. A pedal operated by foot, operates the plunger and said plunger crushes the bottles, cans, etc. of a predetermined sizes readily available as a scrap certain size after which the crushed item is automatically disposed into a dustbin kept below. The crushing mechanism consists of a foot pedal, a spring, a slider crank mechanism and a plunger encased in a stainless steel chassis.
