ECORSANI

The technology relates to biodegradable, safe, GRAS approved compositions developed at IIT Bombay, which can be used as sanitisers. The materials are safe for human contact and are free from harmful chemicals or alcohol. Ecorsani is antibacterial and antiviral. On direct application, it has inactivated coronavirus samples.

There are three types of composition for specific applications as mentioned below:

1. Surface disinfectant: Ecorsani_S is a composition which can be applied to different surfaces. The composition has high retention and effectivity.
2. Aerosol sanitizer: Ecorsani_A is a composition that can be easily aerosolized or sprayed. 
3. Hand rub sanitizer: Ecorsani_H is a composition which is acceptable on skin and is alcohol free
