IIT Bombay Receives the Questel IP Excellence Award 2025

IIT Bombay is happy to announce that it has received the Questel IP Excellence Award 2025, recognizing the institute's outstanding performance in innovation and intellectual property creation. This award highlights IIT Bombay's strong and steadily growing patent portfolio, reflecting our continued commitment to impactful research, technology development, and national innovation goals. 

Based on comprehensive assessment of Indian-priority patent applications published and granted between January 2024 and September 2025, IIT Bombay was selected among the Top 25 organizations for its exceptional contribution to India's intellectual property landscape and patent quality. 

This recognition is a testament to the dedicated efforts of our faculty, researchers, students, and innovation ecosystem partners who continually advance technologies with real-world impact.
