IIT Bombay organized Lectures on Nobel Prizes 2023 Session I by the faculty members of IITB in the categories of Chemistry, Physics and Physiology/Medicine. These lectures were organised on 29 November 2023. Faculty members and students across the Institute attended the talk.

Dr. P. K. Patwardhan Technology Development Award (2022) was awarded to Prof. Bhaskaran Raman, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Commemorating the birth anniversary of noted philosopher, educationist and statesman, Dr S Radhakrishnan, IIT Bombay celebrated its Teachers’ Day at the Institute campus on September 5, 2023. Dr. Arunava Majumdar, Dean, Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, Jay Precourt Professor, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
