A wide band frequency mixer using 0.18 um CMOS technology having Gilbert cell topology. The mixer uses a cross connected PMOS load for the LO output stage. Further it uses inductive tuning between the RF and LO output stages. The inductive tuning is before the RF input stage and LO input stages, and between the NMOS transistors and the cross connected PMOS load of the LO input stage.
