Electrospun nano-composite bone regenerative material
This invention relates in general to bone substitute materials and particularly to a nano-composite, membranous scaffold of combinations of Poly(L-lactic acid) / gelatin / nano-hydroxyapatite (PGH). The nano-composite membranous scaffold of the present invention has potential applications in maxillofacial, dental and orthopedic applications and is capable of faster and efficient bone regeneration capabilities without incorporating expensive growth factors.
