The product provides a lightweight, customized and independent solution for the painting setup of an outdoor painter. The modified tripod/easel is a complete setup for a painter, equipped with a flexible and compact painting area which has an adjustable orientation, a segregated space to securely store and access painting supplies, a space to wash brushes, and a sufficiently large area to mix colors. The setup itself is very easy to transport, requiring no additional luggage as it can be independently dragged using the attached castor wheels or attached as an external frame to any backpack, including camping backpacks.

People have long been painting outdoors by taking inspiration from nature, as a hobby and profession. Painting outdoors however, poses several challenges for the traditional equipment and setups to be adopted. The easels available in the current market hardly tackle any of the structural and functional issues that outdoor painters face. Thus, there is a need for a lightweight supportive accessory customized to cater to an outdoor painter’s needs.
- Adjustable painting area: A compact and foldable painting area is provided with an adjustable orientation and can withstand light pressure from a knife
- Customized accessories: Segregated areas to easily store and access store supplies, wash brushes and mix colors is accommodated in the setup
- Light and portable base: A light, easy to setup and portable tripod/stand/easel is provided which can withstand the outdoors and support the painting canvas
- Independent accessory: The product can be dragged independently using castor wheels or be attached as a frame to any backpack, including camping backpacks
The invention is a foldable, stand-like product with a retractable trolley handle that can be opened and closed like a typical suitcase. The painting surface is a detachable plastic part that is fixed on a holder flexible enough to be made horizontal if needed. It supports a wide range of canvas sizes and surfaces, though a glued paper pad block is recommended. An umbrella holder is available for the provision of shade which is needed to paint comfortably and gauge colors. The adjustable arms serve as a mounting ground for magnetically attached features like a palette, brush holder, brush washer etc. A supply box with segregated sections and a brush washer are also attached to the arms.
