Non-uniform intensity mapping using high performance enterprise computing system
Abstract

This invention outlines a method and system for non-uniform intensity mapping using a high-performance enterprise computing system. This system features advanced cooling techniques that enable extended over-clocking and over-voltage operation. The method involves capturing varying light intensities using sensors, processing this data with a processor, and estimating boundaries of the light intensities. A Kalman filter in the processor predicts and corrects the input data in real time. Additionally, a precise cooling unit maintains the processor's temperature, ensuring optimal performance. This technology has applications in remote sensing, environmental testing, and system health monitoring, among others.

Uniqueness of the Solution
  • Non-Uniform Intensity Mapping Using High-Performance Enterprise Computing System: This method allows precise mapping of varying light intensities, ensuring accurate imaging required in fields such as remote sensing, biological testing, and system health monitoring.
  • Kalman Filter Embedded in the Processor: The embedded Kalman filter predicts and corrects input data flux in real-time, enhancing the system's accuracy and efficiency, which is crucial for managing dynamic data in applications like solar power management and environmental testing.
  • Precision Cooling Unit: The precision cooling unit dynamically manages the processor’s temperature by predicting computational loads and adjusting coolant flow, enabling reliable over-clocking and over-voltage operation, which is essential for maintaining performance and longevity in high-performance computing systems.
  • Proximity and Remote Cooling Architectures: These architectures use Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) as a coolant, providing effective thermal management. Proximity cooling directly contacts the system, while remote cooling connects via heat pipes, ensuring optimal temperatures are maintained in advanced computing environments.
  • Real-Time Dynamic Reconfiguration of Photo Sensor Network: This feature allows the system to reconfigure the photo sensor network based on real-time data, optimizing performance and power efficiency, particularly in applications like solar energy harvesting and advanced imaging systems.
  • High Sensitivity Distributed Temperature Sensor Array: The array ensures precise temperature monitoring and management, maintaining the stability and performance of the processor under varying loads, which is beneficial for intense computational tasks.
  • Feedback Control System with Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) Controller: The feedback control system keeps the processor's temperature within predefined thresholds, ensuring consistent performance and preventing overheating, which is vital for applications requiring sustained high computational power such as industrial automation and scientific research.
Societal Impact
