Single pass process for syntheszzing sub-100 Nanometer liposome from packed bed of colloidal particles

The present invention provides a method of preparing monodisperse jiposomes which comprises,

  a)Drying of lipids dispersed in an organic solvent in athin capillary with colloidal particles,

  b)Hydration of above lipids with a buffer containing a drug, and 

  c)Formation of liposomes with simultaneous encapsulation of drug

whenin, the packed bed of colloidal particles serves as a template for lposomal preparation.
