A novel dual switching operation of Simulated Moving Bed Chromatography (SMBC) system for enhancing key component purity

The present invention provides a serial flow continuous separation process for enhancing key component purity for obtaining the extract into two purity fractions, higher and lower by alternating switch times and flow rates of simulated moving bed chromatographic equipment without modifying physical characteristics/functionality of SMBC.
