An apparatus to determine the lysimetric method for modelling radioactive contaminant transport in soil mass. The present invention demonstrates that lysimetric method yield a significant insight of the fate of the contaminants and establishing their spatial and temporal distribution in the soil mass. The process of modelling helps to model radioactive contaminant transport in the soil mass. The present invention also determines the distribution coefficient by adopting in situ test rather than laboratory test to obtain accurate and reliable results. The present invention also predicts the long term transportation of the contaminants and examining the same.
