Events
TechConnect is organized into 3 sub events - Exhibitions, Symposiums, and ResCon.
Exhibition
The Tech Exhibition is a centerpiece of TechConnect, highlighting the most innovative research and technological advancements from across IIT Bombay. It serves as a platform for our faculty, researchers and students to present cutting-edge prototypes, working models and research projects to industry leaders, academics and the general public.
Visitors can explore interactive displays, discover emerging technologies and engage in conversations that open doors for industry-academia collaboration. The exhibition exemplifies IIT Bombay’s commitment to research excellence and translational impact.
Symposium
The Symposium is an immersive, department-led engagement where each Department or Centre at IIT Bombay hosts a 3-hour interactive session. These sessions typically begin with a brief introduction followed by panel discussions, research presentations, technical quizzes and lab visits.
Designed as a platform for industry-academic engagement, the Symposium enables departments to showcase their core strengths, ongoing project and future research directions while connecting directly with stakeholders from industry and government.
ResCon
ResCon (Research Conclave) is IIT Bombay’s premier undergraduate research forum organized by EnPoWER in collaboration with IRCC, as part of TechConnect. It aims to nurture research curiosity among undergraduates and provide a platform to present their work, engage in competitions and interact with experts.
ResCon 2025 revolves around three core themes - Soch (Ideate), Vichar (Reflect), and Achar (Act) - creating an environment that encourages innovation, critical thinking, and actionable solutions to real-world challenges.
