A workshop on 'Europe-India IP Dialogue: An enabler for research and innovation in the Health and ICT Sector' was organised at IIT Bombay in collaboration with European Business & Technology Centre (EBTC) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), on 6th March 2018.The participants comprised of Indian and European representatives of the industry, industry associations, bilateral agencies, government as well as the academia, and legal professionals.

A multi stakeholder discussion was held at this event, moderated by Prof. Krithi Ramamritham, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT Bombay, resulting in a working paper given below.

The paper offers relevant insights on the Indian ICT sector and its relevance for macroeconomic growth in the context of Make in India as well as its potential with regard to creating and monetizing Intellectual Property (IP) within the key industries of the ICT sector.
