Influence of Initial Water Content and Specimen Thickness on the SWCC of Fine-grained Soils

The present invention relates to a method that can be employed for determining influence of initial water content and specimen thickness on the SWCC of fine-grained soils, further the invention facilitates suction measurement of the fine- grained soils. SWCCs were established for commercially available Kaolin and Bentonite clays, by varying the initial water contents and thickness of their specimens.
